Just hitting the market in early 2013, Prodigy Disc is undoubtedly the most anticipated
release for quite some time. Still in the prototype phase, there isn't much information available yet for
these, but according to Prodigy, this is a "very fast, under stable driver. It
is designed for all players and flies extremely far. The D4 will turn up when
thrown hard and will then react similarly to the D3 with its long glide and gentle
turning finish. " This is the least stable driver Prodigy has released to date.
About Prodigy's 400 Series Plastic:
This plastic, called the "400 Series", has a solid, firm feel in the
hand while also allowing for some give, making for a nice, comfortable
grip. Deceptively "grippy" and tacky for a clear plastic disc, players
are sure to appreciate the added control and consistency this plastic
provides. Clearly a durable plastic which can be compared to Innova's Champion
line--or
Discraft's
Elite Z--players of all skill levels will appreciate the playability and long-life
of discs made with this material.
