Prior to this point in disc golf history
the Night Flyer, Midnight Flyer from Wham-O and DGA and then the Puppy from Destiny
discs were the most sought after. The Eagle and then the Aero provided the first
look at a beveled
edge golf disc. Designed by Dave Dunipace this particular version has raised letters
on the underside of the disc indicating "PATENT PEND." and CHAMPION DISCS,
INC. Later they would add Innova to the name. Even the top stamp indicates the
original name of the company "CHAMPION DISCS, INC." 165g This disc is very clean
and in awesome condition. A hot looking disc
that is very rare and a valuable piece of disc golf history. This is the exact
disc and only one of this type, size and color available.
