This disc features John Bird throwing a thumber. This was the event
disc for the 1977 National Championship Series. The next year it became
the North American Series. Each year for about 5 consecutive years a
player was featured for the series. This is year number 2 for this
event. The disc was made in 50 molds and 40 molds. This is the only
