This is an very good condition 50 mold 1976 National Championhsip Series (NCS)
Disc. This
series was held across the U.S. maybe an event or two in Canada. Qualifiers were
invited to The World Frisbee Disc Championships at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena,
California. Still one of the largest events ever organized in the history flying
disc sports. 1976 was the first year of the series which lasted through 1982.
This clear Original 50 mold from Wham-O was unique because it was not available
in the
regular commercial market. The 50 mold was sold in stores as The World Class 141 gram Frisbee. This disc
was only
available for North American Series events. This disc is in excellent condition
with only storage scuffs and some delay marks on the underside of the disc.
