This is an excellent condition 40 mold 1976 National Championhsip Series (NCS)
Disc. This
series was held across the U.S. maybe an event or two in Canada. Qualifiers were
invited to The World Frisbee Disc Championships at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena,
California. Still one of the largest events ever organized in the history flying
disc sports. 1976 was the first year of the series which lasted through 1982.
This clear Original 40 mold from Wham-O was unique because it was not available
in the
regular commercial market. This 40 mold was sold in store as The World Class 119 gram Frisbee. This disc
was only
available for North American Series events. This disc is in excellent condition
with only storage scuffs.
