This is another great packaged Flyin-Saucer from Southern California Plastic's
from 1956. Package graphics are a dark blue on a clear plastic bag. The package
is in excellent condition on the is disc. This is an incredible cross collector
item with the flying disc world and for Disney collectors. Also referenced in Phil Kennedy's
book "Flat Flip Flies Straight", The label on this disc (Featuring Disney's Tomorrowland) is also in excellent condition.
This is a collection of some of the first and most unique flying discs ever manufactured.
From the collection of Joel Rogers these discs are priced according to condition
and rarity of the disc. With the recent passing of Walter Fred Morrison we felt
it was timely to present and display the progression of flying disc history from
a manufacturing standpoint. This particular section are all discs from the original
Pipco mold which produced the first plastic flying discs in 1948. Although these
discs have been researched thoroughly we are always interested in new information.
