Prior to this point in disc golf history
the Night Flyer, Midnight Flyer from Wham-O and DGA and then the Puppy from Destiny
discs were the most sought after. The Eagle and then the Aero provided the first
look at a beveled
edge golf disc. Designed by Dave Dunipace this particular version has raised letters
on the underside of the disc indicating the patent number and CHAMPION DISCS,
INC. Later they would add Innova to the name. The top stamp does have Innova added
to the now Aero Star Stamp. 177g
