Frisbees and flying discs are part of the rich history of disc sports. Discs that
were provided to competitors for events and discs that were the pioneers of the
sports we play now. The way they flew and the way they felt in your hand were
the reasons we kept coming back and throwing them more, inventing new games and
developing new product.
This is a Wham-O 80 mold disc, indicated by a raised "80" on the inside of the
rings. It was produced for Central States National Series Frisbee Tournament held
in Kansas City. The lettering on the title seems to be a ghost stamp (between
the two white lines above the eagles head). The disc is in new condition and has
never been thrown.
