0This is a complete set of red North American Series Discs. The NAS was
a series of events that would allow players to qualify for the World
Championships that was held by Wham-O in Pasadena, California at the
end of the Summer. If you qualified, Wham-O would fly some 200 players
out and house them at the dorms at UC Irvine for a week long
competition that culminated with a day of finals and special events at
the Rose Bowl stadium. Crowds were typically in the 30-40,000 to watch
this final day of events. These discs were only available at the
qualifying events for the World Championships. Several different
hot-stamp colors were available. The set includes one original 80 Mold,
one 50 Mold and one 40 Mold. The pictured player is Dave Marini. These
discs are in excellent, never been thrown condition.
