Name: Motha' Hucker Terrain Park
Description: A-Basin's terrain park, Mutha' Hucker, is the highest terrain park in North America. The Mutha Hucker is slated to stay open until June each season allowing snowboarders and skiers to jib well into the summer.
Events: In May of 2005 we will be bringing back the Huck, Rock and Roll expect sick prizes and a band. We are also going to have a few rail jams earlier in the season. Be sure to check the events page for more information on Mutha' Hucker events.

Name: Parkology
Description: Advanced, intermediate or beginner, Beaver Creek has the terrain park for you. With three terrain parks for all range of abilities, Beaver Creek has the perfect line for you. The terrain parks have jumps, table-tops and rails.
Instruction: Provided for skiers and riders through its children's ski and snowboard school.
Events: Beginner- and intermediate-level learning competitions. Winter 2004-2005 competition dates are Dec. 29, Feb. 23 and March 16. New this year, a special Park-ology Championships will be held April 3. The Championships is open to children who have completed one or more of the competitions held earlier in the season.
Description: Mountain top terrain, the course plays at the top of the Silver Queen Gondola on Aspen Mountain Ski Area. Some holes play on the edge of tremendous downhill areas. A bad throw and your disc is gone. One hole is about 1,500 feet completely downhill. It has been threed several times. Bring your camera. Course Installed: 5/96

Name:Freeway Terrain Park (Peak 8)
Description: The Freeway Terrain Park on Peak 8 is one of North America's most acclaimed terrain parks, receiving numerous awards from various magazines and readers polls. This Super Park plays host to world-class athletes, competitions and exhibitions throughout the season. The Breckenridge Freeway Terrain Park is often the first park and pipe in the country to open for the season thanks to great snowmaking and Breckenridge's high altitude. The park includes 10 rail features and 6 jump features with various landings, and the superpipe is 400-ft long and 18-ft high. Freeway can also be seen in films and in popular computer games. The Park is always bustling with local rippers and often scattered with pros and team riders like Chad Otterstrom, Steve Fisher, Todd Richards, and Chris Hawks.

Description: New last year was the addition of the Twister Terrain Park. This park is ideal for the new comer to jumps, rails and fun boxes. Twister offers small features that are sure to build your confidence.
Name: Gold King Terrain Park (Peak 9)
Description: With the size of terrain parks dramatically increasing over the past few seasons, the Gold King Terrain Park offers medium to medium-large hits and features for less experienced riders to build their skills in a reasonably safe and comfortable environment. These jumps and rails make the Gold King Terrain Park a perfect place to improve and refine new tricks.
Name: El Dorado Terrain Park (Peak 9)
Description: New this season, Breckenridge introduces it's smallest park which features rails and fun boxes at snow level and the smallest jumps at the resort. The park will also include a small half pipe, similar to the one found on Trygves. El Dorado represents the resort's learning area for terrain parks and pipes. There will be two park areas located at El Dorado one will be open to the public and the other is designated as a Breckenridge Ski Ride School teaching area. The half pipe and park will also be open to the public.
Name: Country Boy Pipe (Peak 8)
Description: New last year was the Country Boy HalfPipe. This yet again shows how Breckenridge continues to excel in the progression of snowboarding. This medium sized pipe allows you to practice and enhance your skills in a relaxed environment. Country Boy stretches from the beginning of the trail to the bottom, thus taking up the whole run just so you can improve in the halfpipe.
Events: 20TH ANNIVERSARY RAIL JAM SERIES (February & March 20, 2005). Come on out for a FREE rail jam every 20th of the month, to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of Snowboarding at Breckenridge. Accumulate points by competing each month. Competitors with sufficient points will be invited to the finals on Closing Day. Breckenridge was one of the first resorts to allow snowboarding. Name: A51 Terrain Park
Description: A51 features three progressive sections, an 11-ft half pipe, a 400-ft-long, 18.5-ft Zaugg cut Superpipe, and 51 rails and funboxes. DMX Music is pumped throughout the park. A51 also features the Packsaddle chair as a dedicated return lift, and the park can be accessed via the high-speed Peru Express from the Mountain House base area. With almost the entire park under lights, A51 is one of the largest night parks in the United States, so boarders and skiers can enjoy the park and pipes well after the sun goes down.

Events: SPORTS ILLUSTRATED FOR KIDS NEXT SNOW SEARCH (February 11-13, 2005). Watch with wonder as the talented youth of our nation compete for a spot on the Sports Illustrated winter youth team at the Next Snow Search Finals only at Keystone Resort. Name: Golden Peak Park
Description: Pro and local riders alike continuously praise the Vail Superpipe. Pipe riders find the 18' walls a challenge, while the nightly grooming and Zaugg Pipe Monster assures consistency. A variety of medium to larger jibs, rails and hits are scattered throughout the park each designed to flow into the next section. The Jib Park is like a park within the park, enclosed in a glade of trees, riders can spend a day sliding and hiking all different kinds of rails and jibs. It is the ultimate hangout for park rats. Multiple take-offs and landings, some with rail options, make the jump sections as challenging as you want them to be. High-speed quad access from the Golden Peak base area guarantees a quick, comfy ride.
Name: Mule Skinner and Bwana
Description: These parks feature small hits and rails - great for learning the basics of freestyle progression or trying a new trick. Mule Skinner can be accessed from the Riva Bahn Express (Chair 6), one trail over from the Golden Peak Park. Bwana can be found under the Eagle Bahn Gondola (Lift 19) above LionsHead. The Vail Ski and Snowboard School will use these parks for special terrain park sessions, find out more.
Events: SOS OUTREACH SERIES (February 13th and 19th, March 6th). The SOS Outreach Series is the largest USASA amatauer snowboard event series. Events are offered to male and female riders of all ages. Opportunities to qualify for USASA nationals, USASA Sanctioned and a chance to earn points. The SOS Prize raffle includes snowboards, jackets, boots, hoodies, T'shirts, videos, goggles, gloves and more.
MALAY DAY (April 14, 2005). In honor and loving memory of Vail Team Rider Josh Malay who passed away in February of 2004. This annual event comprises a Pipe Jam followed by a Jump/Jib Jam at the Golden Peak Terrain Park. All proceeds benefit the Malay Memorial Fund with free food, music and giveaways throughout the day.

Name: Rail Yard Terrain Park
Description: Our advanced park is taking last year's design and flow and improving on it. The crazy-good flow will remain and the take-offs will be widened. More rails will be added and our set-ups will be some of the most unique in the industry! We are adding some progressive rails built by Ryan @ Planet Snowtools as well as some built by our local Bent Metal crew. We are also taking some of our rail designs back to the rootsŠ simple, true, fun. Our 420-ft superpipe will be better than ever after a full season of learning the finer points of Zaugg-cutting mastery.

Description: Kendrick is designed for the Freerider looking to hone their skills before going to Rail Yard. Kendrick's jumps have more flow than the Mississippi River. This year, we are adding another line of bigger jumps to keep staging lines short and everybody's progression moving quickly. The rails will have set-ups designed to push your creative thinking and bag-of-tricks.

Description: Still waiting to get your groove on with your terrain park skills? Wait no longer! Discovery Park is the place to learn how to navigate rollers, catch air, and slide on foreign surfaces! This beginner terrain park is designed to be a great place to learn skills for the first time. Everybody sessioning Discovery will be able share stories of first crashes and sore buns as they progress to Kendrick. Remember, there is no shame in learning, just lameness for never trying!
Events: For 2005, The Wahoo's Winter Park / Amateur Freeride Series will consist of Rail Jam, Slopestyle, and Superpipe events. For those of you who took part last year, you know that we have some of the chillinest events around! Our slopestyle course is one of the longest in the region, using the entire lower Rail Yard. Our Superpipe events will be held in our Zaugg-cut pipe featuring 18 foot walls.
