This disc is in excellent, unthrown condition but it does have some ink on the backside of the rim. The disc is a translucent BLUE color with a metallic silver mini hot-stamp from the 2003 Southern California series. Some storage wear is on all of these discs because until now they had been stored without any protection. We'll give our best estimate of condition and ink on each disc. As well we will try to display at least three photos of each so you can take a look.
Around 2001 Innova was starting to experiment with what became known as "Candy Plastic". in their 2002 Catalog they should a whole line of Champion Edition "CE" models that would later be coveted as some of the most collectible of all golf discs. At the time all of us retailers were having a hard time keeping the plastic in stock and Innova was having an even harder time keeping up with demand. They said that the molding time for each individual disc was extremely long in comparison to what was DX and Pro plastics. So even though the price was higher customers realized that the extra durability of CE Plastic was well worth the additional price.
Information about current Innova's Champion plastic
In Gerneral the flight characteristics of CE Plastic tended to be more stable than that of the Champion plastic that followed.
