A putter / approach golf disc is a very versatile tool every player should have in the bag. Putters are the closest in flight and shape to the recreational discs many people are familiar with. Generally, these putting discs have a deeper dish and a more rounded nose than other disc golf discs. Putter discs are designed to fly slow and straight with lots of glide. Normally, putt and approach discs are used for the shortest throws ("putts") when you want to place it dead-center in the chains, however they are also excellent discs for those short-range approach shots when touch and control are critical, also known as "upshots". Putt & approach discs make a great all around disc for players of all abilities.
